What is Open Angle Glaucoma

Open-angle Glaucoma is the most common form of Glaucoma, and has no immediate symptoms. If left undiagnosed and untreated, peripheral vision (side vision) will be lost and will eventually lead to blindness.

Open-angle glaucoma can be caused by injury to the eye. It can present months after the injury. This type of glaucoma may not respond to traditional forms of treatment and may require surgery.
